The web store page for buying it seemed broken when I looked into it--the one month option isn't available (and I'm not signing up for 3 months w/o seeing what's up first.) When I called WL about it, the rep had not a clue what I was talking about.

So I'm guessing it might be best to let the product mature before forking over your money.

I was thinking about it... If I get it, I'm going to wait till mid-Sept so the three month period doesn't run out before exams.

Now that this product has had time to mature, is anyone using it? How do you like it?

It's a ripoff.

1. The flash platform it's based on is slow and a pain to use.
2. You can sign up online, but you can only cancel via phone. Canceling entails waiting 15 minutes listening to terrible phone music. Hallmark of a bad business model.
3. You need to cancel more than a month before the renewal date or they will renew you for the entire term. (Buy it April 3, cancel it April 14, they you to pay for both April and May).

You're better off just going to the library or asking a 2L for their used books.

I agree. It seems that West is (legitimately) concerned that people would just rip the stuff off. Consequently, the interface is a pain in the ass. You cannot copy and paste, the platform is slow and it is just an unpleasant experience. Definitely not worth it.

I won a month from some e-mail contest. I used it mostly to have canned briefs and give myself an excuse to be lazy. I don't think it was particularly helpful beyond that, but maybe I didn't fully take advantage of the resources since I didn't have to pay for it.
