$500,000 is nothing... you probably don't want to advertise to employers that your parents are proles.

I just had business card-sized copies of my folks' tax returns made up. I clip them to my resume mailings, give them out at OCI, and just generally hand them out in social settings.

Do you think employers would be impressed to know I come from a well off family?
Like maybe if I can't fit it in my resume, would it be something you would try to force out in the interview?

If you have to ask whether they will be impressed by your family, they won't be impressed by your family.

Unless you can demonstrate how coming from a "well-off" family will bring in new business, employees could care less and may actually be somewhat discouraged by the prospect of perceived level of complacency.
