Nothing to report here so far, but I still want the [vicarious] experience, so share your stories ITT.

This kid who sits next to me keeps going off about the philosophical basis of law, constantly prefacing his long, pointless, pedantic discourses with references to his past legal experience or to some book that he claims to have read. I just look up at the ceiling to avoid bursting into laughter. I hope nobody thinks I am associated with him.
Seems like a nice guy too, sadly. Somebody should sit him down.

I've got one guy in my section who insists on starting a debate with each professor with a minute or two to spare in class. I'm pretty sure his strategy is to show them (and us) how brilliant he is, and by doing it at the end of class, it allows us to bask in his glory until the next class.
Unfortunately, the professors haven't caught on yet and keep engaging him.

Second day of class, a gunner sitting front-row middle (duh), gave about a five-minute long hypo in which, I guess, he was trying to tie together a couple of the cases we had gone over to show how well he was listening. It was a yes or no question, and after he was done spewing out all the details, the whole class literally started laughing because it was just so ridiculous, even to first-week 1Ls. The prof waited for the commotion to settle before simply answering, "No." After a short pause and more laughter from the class, prof says, "From now on, I'll throw out the hypos."
My lack of details probably makes the story a bit weak, but I assure you it was brilliant. Made my day.

Nice. Does your school tape lectures by any chance? I would love to see it.

Everyone in my section seems reasonable and well-balanced. No one shouts out answer to questions or looks like they are about to burst when trying to answer a question, but if called on, they give reasonable and intelligent answers with thoughtful analysis.
I feel cheated.

Nothing too outrageous here, not that I would really post it anyway since I don't have much anonymity anymore.

Ask Godspeed what the appropriate response to that should be.

Any time someone mentions, "Hey are you on TLS?!" it is hard to respond yes and not end up giving your username. I don't really mind, though, as there isn't much (if anything) I say on here that I wouldn't say in person.

How can people connect your TLS identity with real life?

Touche. I'm actually very surprised no one has figured out who I am on TLS yet.

Kid in my class... raises his hand at every opp... even twidles his fingers, while his hand is in the hair bursting with anticipation.
Quite gay, IMO.
Anyway, in Torts, our professor is very detail oriented, AND I MEAN VERY... gunner raises his hand just dying to brief the case and gets drilled. The
Gunner: "and she was babysitting the boy in her sister's backyard".
Professor: "Where does it say she was babysitting? Where are you reading from?"
(class is silent, and probably in fear.)
Gunner: "from my notes".
Professor: "well too bad they're not the leading authority. Put em down, they're not helping you."
(class giggles)
I guess it wasn't too bad, but you should of seen his face. Red! bwahahaha. He still raises his hand though... like a puppy that no matter how hard you smack just keeps pissn in the house.

I don't think you have the slightest clue what dicta is.
