Consistent B+'s

After taking about 35 credits, I got mostly B+'s with a sprinkling of B's and A's (in the 2 classes I knew cold). The curve at my school is a C+.

Why do I get "stuck" at B+'s? What separates a B+ from an A- or A?

Are you talking about the stair-case grading system? If so, how can I make my essay exams stop on the top stair?

I haven't yet because the grades were released over the summer, but I will this fall when school starts up again. But, I was just wondering whether there are any general things that separate B+ answers from A- or A's. I feel like I adequately used citations to support my arguments, tied in facts, argued policy and alternatives if available, and never have any grammar or spelling issues, so I am just confused.

On a C+ curve I'd imagine consistent B+s is already giving you a killer GPA. Maybe they just don't really give out that many As at your school?

Same problem here. What the profs have told me is just making my shit flow better together.

Complaining about a B+ average on a C+ curve sounds suspiciously like fake complaining to me. It's like when girls fake-complain that they can't wear a type of shirt because their boobs are too big.

Perfect simile, f-ing perfect.
