Any need for a color printer?

I am getting a new printer, any need for color or can I just go black an white. Laserjets are faster than inkjets, so I'm thinking that's the best bet.

Look on craigslist. A lot of businesses are selling off stuff as they close. I got a commercial grade color-laserjet printer/scanner/fax that had only ever printed a few hundred pages for under $200.

Tru, I actually picked up an HP Laserjet for like 140....black and white but prints 26 pages a min. I'm just curious whether color is necessary. No need for it for legal writing assignments, but maybe for outlines? I never really type in color, but then again I never used a comp to take notes.
