Wondering if anyone at the long list of universities with law and business schools is applying to business school to earn a JD/MBA, and what is the utility of said combo?

I am considering applying for the joint program if the job market is still in the trash entering 2L. I have heard a ton of opinions on these forums about the jd/mba being worthless, I am still undecided. I think the mba could be a big help if you are wanting to break into the corporate world as in-house counsel but do not want to limit your options.

Most in-house counsel come from being mid-level associates at large law firms. The JD/MBA is not useful for most people, but can be useful for a few people who have very specific goals.

I think it's not useful for law jobs, but if you want to do non-legal, then I think it would be useful.
