What's written on the paper behind him??
"I travel....all around the country...talking about the economy..."
No one...wants to hear you...speak...like this...with the pauses..after every few words...and if you are really that knowlegeable...about the economy...why don't you have any money...to pay for your daughter's...law school...since you feel so...bad about it...
"my daughter....doesn't have a job....she's worked in child care"
um...because that's the only other option for those who don't get a law job?
"she's in her mid-30's...wants to live on her own...doesn't want to live with her parents..."
yeah, probably with her cats and porcelain doll collection.

No. My father is currently doing scientific research overseas. I neither live with my parents, nor have 6 figure law school debt. After leaving my 1st year of law school, I embarked on a career which is both fulfilling and lets me live financially independently. I am not rich by any means, however, I still hope to amass enough capital to start my own business in a few years.

Because he finally came to the realization that his daughter is retarded and never leaving

Yet to find a man in her mid-30s? Probably a social pariah. I'd imagine her problems with finding a job have more to do with her own shittiness at life, though the legal market bottoming out plays a part.

Of course, it's always the other person's fault. Tuition at most schools is pushing 50k a year, firm and government jobs are being cut left and right, meanwhile law school applications and enrollment are at all time highs. Nope, don't see any structural problems here. It MUST be the individual person's fault.....it MUST be............it MUST be.....it
MUST beeeee.......

So, I'll ask you this again: what the hell are you doing on here? If you are so happy with you decision to quit law school, that's awesome; enjoy it and stop trolling internet forums to project misery onto others. With the tone of your posts, I don't see how you could possibly claim that you are actually trying to help anyone. I'll let you in on a little secret; everyone here thinks you are a loser.......actually, Ill take that further: a loser and a whining pussy. The "my life is so good" act doesn't fool anyone, your posts just reek of bitterness. If your life is so great, get off TLS and live it.

Always black and white, eh? Gotta be one or the other?
No.
Her shittiness at life extends well beyond her inability to get a job. She's a pathetic woman who isn't married at age 35. This points to problems that might make it difficult to find a job (mostly the fact that people don't typically want to hire uninspiring, unattractive losers).

MTal, you incurred no law school debt and were able to transition successfully and get your accounting license. In all likelihood, you were able to save yourself from becoming a casualty of ITE. However.... why do you still even read this forum?
