Just thought I would share the link to the PDF of "How to Read a Legal Opinion- A Guide for New Law Students." Short and sweet article, very easy read. I learned some very introductory ideas re: legal reasoning--reasoning by analogy, why some opinions are vague and importance of concurring/dissention opinions. Well worth the ten minutes for 0Ls.
