Topic of Secondary Journal

Does it really matter what area of the law the secondary journal your on is? For example is your interested in practicing corporate law, should you do the businesss law journal if your school has it, or could you do another journal that has an area of law that interests you, but you may not want to practice. Will it come back to hurt you if for example you want to do corporate law, but join the environmental law journal. I figure no matter what your still practicing writing and editing.

Don't think it would hurt you, bit actually wanting to pratice what the jounral your on covers can help tailor your resmue in one direction, which can be very good for convincing some employers your serious about X, but also not help you later if your need to apply for Y.
