Top Law Schools

Hello,

I will be entering school as a 1L and was just wondering if planning a trip to Europe in January prior to start of the spring semester would be conflicting with anything law school wise. Obviously school is not in session, but is it common to be assigned work for the upcoming semester/1Ls to work or volunteer or job hunt for the summer?

Any thoughts would be appreciated!

Prepare your resume and some sort of stock cover letter now, and also research firms/practice areas that you like that have alumni associates and partners. Front load the job hunt legwork now, and you wont have that much to do over winter break, since you wont have grades back by then, anyway.
