sweet, there's even a poster too! I can't tell you how many times I've seen "definitely" spelled incorrectly lol, its ridic.

If you don't know how to spell and use those words even before you get into college, that's a bad thing, although I must confess that I may have misspelled "weird" on one or two occasions (typos).

I have all of those nailed, but if spell check ever ceased to exist I would never write the word "necessary" ever again. I don't know why it gives me so much trouble.

It's just like "professor" - the S's double up, not the other consonants. No matter how many times I try to tell my undergrad students about these mistakes, some still make them on their papers. I have a handout and everything, and some students just can't stop with the errors. The 'then'/'than' mistake just makes me

I assume Legal Writing can be done on a computer vs pen/paper... If so, I'll continue to use this new resource called spellcheck. It even auto-corrects your/you're.
