1) How come all questions of personal jurisdiction don't 'arise under the constitution, treaties, or laws of the united states' given that the contours of personal jurisdiction are predicated on the due process clause, making any dispute inherently constitutional?

2) In two sentences or less, what is the holding of Gasperini and how did it advance the Erie doctrine?

Gaspierini? minimize forum shopping while promoting state policy behind the rule, and to preserve functions of trial v. appellate courts in the federal court system?

as for why PJ is not a constitutional issue whenever it is raised, it's because state law applies to determining PJ whether by its own formulation or by proxy. Also, I don't give care.
