Top Law Schools

Okay, misleading thread title, but for first semester I stuck to the E&E's exclusively, and it worked for me. This semester, the E&E's are either more confusing than my class notes (Property), or completely worthless (Crim Pro). So instead, I'm pretty much exclusively doing CALI lessons, with the exception of Con Law. What's worse, I actually sorta... enjoy... doing the lessons, probably because of the simplicity and ease of use.

This is starting to sound like a CALI advertisement, but am I the only one that's relying on them?

edit: I should add that obviously I'm doing practice exams and memorizing my face off.

2. I did almost every single CALI for Torts and Contracts the week before the exam and got the highest grade in the class on each. This quarter, I am not finding them helpful at all (Con Law, Civ Pro, Property) so I'm not doing them and it kinda worries me.

Either way - I have recently realized that reading cases and the casebook in general is almost completely worthless and unnecessary.

I really liked them for straight black letter classes, like torts. I found them much less helpful for others, like property for example (mostly because the things we covered in property are not the same as what is covered in the CALI lessons)

Yes, I am right there with you. I should be more diligent about doing them though, but since they usually combine learning with application, they have been incredibly useful.

Weird, my Property class is completely covered by the CALI lessons, as is Crim Pro and to a lesser extent Civ Pro (plus I'm waaay too lazy to do the really long Civ Pro exercises). However, other than that Dormant Commerce Clause one, Con Law is pretty off the mark for my class.

Gilbert's Property Outline is pure gold. Plus I picked it up at a used bookstore for $3. One of the cheapest and best supplements I have bought.

I just missed booking Property, and I more or less used Cali exclusively to study for that exam.

I also relied on the Krier outline, but that was just for content. For practice it was all Cali.

Eh, it never applies to my stuff for some reason.
