I know how pricey getting a suit can be and THUS I'M GOING TO RECOMMEND EXTREMELY OVER-PRICED SUITS.

Lol at you trying to equate "around $500" with pinching pennies. Someone who is pinching pennies most certainly isn't going to spend $500 for a suit, regardless of how good a "deal" it might be.

For suits that normally cost $1,500, I would say so. Also, they frequently have suits cheaper than that, I just wouldn't consider them "designer." But, I agree; there are other options such as the Mens Fashion Depot and going to thirft stores, etc. However, I'm just letting people know of a place to same some money and perhaps get a suit they thought was out of their price range.

There is also women's clothing. As a man, however, I have no idea of the quality of the avialable styles/brands. I would assume they are comparable.

Never said it wasn't a good deal, or a good idea. I just think it sounded silly to reference students who are forced to pinch pennies, and recommend said students spend $500 on suits. Sounds sort of contradictory.

Good call, I've been using Gilt for awhile now. It's pretty great, even if half the time I'm just drooling over clothes I can't afford.
