Bluebook, which one to buy

For those people out there that use the bluebook, can you please give me some insight.
My school requires us to use the bluebook for the write on part of the law review contest (grades take forever and even though I am number one I dont want to risk a dive)
I have no idea how to use the bluebook. We use strictly alwd at my school.
Do some of the books have more examples of how to cite than others.
Any information is appreciate along with links to the best ones to use!! Thanks!!!

I find the online version much more user-friendly than the print version.

I have online and print, and I recommend you buy:
1) both
2) only print
3) online only
in that order.
The online is nice because I don't have to leave my keyboard to look stuff up if I know what I'm looking for (preferred reporters, mandatory abbreviations, etc.), but it's much faster (at least for me) to tab the sections and read the physical book if I'm looking for something I don't know/remember.

Online is advantageous, only because Bluebook's editors are incapable of creating a topic index that's worth two shits. That's right. You know who you are.

Since everyone is a jerk, I took time out of my busy day to research the topic.
It turns out that the 19th Edition of the Bluebook comes out on June 1st. Thus, OP, to answer your question:
1. You should wait until June 1st to buy your copy of the Bluebook, if at all possible.
2. Your "Bluebook with Training Wheels":
Understanding and Mastering The Bluebook

How the fuck would you be able to judge this?
Please, tell me: how much has the bluebook changed over the last, say, 5 editions to make it worth waiting for the new one? And what is the advantage of the 'training wheels' Bluebook for someone who knows ALWD? How different are AWLD and Bluebook, anyways?
