Some bitch just called me for some sort of poll as I was working on my brief and my civ pro outline. I know everyone has an experience or two that they could share. What's the most thing that distracted you from your studies as a laws student?

People who complain about things like an inconvenient phone call and then refer to the person on the other end as a female dog.

It always kinda makes me laugh and a little annoyed when I meet someone, and as soon as they discover Im a law student, they rattle off about their nephews pending possession charge, or child support, or some other legal issue that i have no ability to help with.

Had a legal research assignment. question was "What is your first impression of this case". I said "My impression is that this case means X." Professor crossed that out and put "No, your first impression is this case means Y." Yeah professor, you're right, my OPINION of the case is wrong....

This. Times infinity raised to the infinite power. Every time someone mentions LRW, I flip out because my profs seem to think that grading a 30-person class on a curve is somehow statistically significant. They might as well just throw all of our memos/briefs into giant bowl, smoke it, and then arbitrarily assign grades.
