Another math question from me -

If our legal writing section is comprised of two classes of about 20, the Mean on our Trial Brief is 21.5 (out of 30), the Median is 24, and I got a 25.5 - is there any way of figuring out roughly what grade that would be or I am venturing too far into the abstract?

To my best understanding, mandatory curve at law school means that the class average must be X (If George Mason, thats C+/B-. If Georgetown, thats B+). Thus, if you're looking for a letter grade (base on mean), depend on what the maxmium grade you can obtain in that class and the curve, you're probably one or two grade level above the curve.

If you're looking for class rank (base on median), then you're definitely in the top 50%. The exact rank is dependent upon grade distribution in your section.

Edit: I hastily posted a response and then realized it was incorrect. You really can't find out your exact grade without more data, but given the low mean, I'd say you are in good shape. Good luck!
