I am on a secondary journal, applying for EIC and other Editorial Board positions. We have interviews for these positions in a few days, with the current Board. What does one wear for such an interview?

I'd wear a suit.

I'd try to base it on what you know about the collective personality of the current board. If they're the stuffy type then a suit may be appropriate, but to some degree (for people who have roughly the same credentials) it's a popularity/personality contest and you don't want to be seen as stuffy yourself if they're looking for someone personable and down to earth. For my journal I think a button up shirt (no tie) and khakis would be most appropriate, but it's not like I would ding anyone for being more dressy... unless they came in wearing a bowtie or holding a briefcase.
