my 1L grades: median @ T20 -- DROP OUT?

basically, i didn't GET A SINGLE 'A'.
My grades: B+, B+, B, B. i even got a B in my effing legal writing class
fml
i really got curvepwned, and the thought of being median makes me sick and depressed. Esp in this economy, I don't want to be *really* pwned ITE. I'm on a scholly that covers 75% tuition, but i'm still taking out loans to cover the rest of tuition + housing. I'm not in danger of losing my scholly, unless i really fuck up (knock on wood)... i just have to remain in "good standing" to keep scholly
i figure this puts me out of the running to make law review, transfer, biglaw, etc.
I studied my ass off fall semester. idk what to do. really fucking depressed.
PLZ share some advice.
/edit/
my school's curve is set somewhere between a B- and B, i think (closer to B?)
I'm in a secondary market, killself
my lsat score is exactly MEDIAN for my school. jesus. (got scholly b/c my GPA was good, from decent UG)
also... HOW DO I DO BETTER THIS SEMESTER?

b/c you are on a scholly that pays 75% of all costs, you are still in a good situation ... i would not drop out!
although you are clearly below the median, there are still 5 semesters remaining and what you may forgo in terms of big law in the short term, you might actually gain by having to pay off 75% less than many of your classmates. indeed, you are in a situation where you can happily settle for much less coming out of law school than the next guy.

median at a t20 on a 75% scholly is not a bad investment. I'd stick with it, even if you just stay where you are in your class, you're getting a good deal for a good JD. You shouldn't need BigLaw if you're on a 75% scholly anyways.
Freak-out threads are popping up like crazy these days and sometimes it's warranted... but sometimes I think people are getting just fiscally paranoid... and I blame TLS.

Then you are above median. There needs to be a statistics part of the LSAT.

do you know how many people would kill for 75% at t20? even with median grades yor prospects are still fine. stop listening to the doom-sayers.

I voted yes before seeing that you had a 75% scholarship. Personally if I was looking at $150,000 of debt upon graduating, I would drop out if I was below median at a T20. But it sounds like you probably won't have to deal with more than $60-$70,000 of debt, at most, which is much more manageable.
Also if the median is a B, 2 Bs and 2 B+s probably puts you nicely above median. At UVA the median is a B+, and 2 B+s and 2 A-s put a student in the top 25%, so if your school's grade distribution is anything like ours, you probably shouldn't be worried as much.

Fox is right. I forget that not all schools curve to a 4.33 like NU! You are still in good shape. Assuming that the median is a 3.0, you are at a 3.14, or so (assuming that you had 2 B's and 2 B+'s in your 3 hour doctrinal classas and that your legal writing class counts for 2 credits).

75% scholly at a T20, slightly above median (according to above posts) =/= dropping out.

I think you'll be alright at T20. They still have some staying power. Might have to take an unpaid internship this summer but that won't kill you. PS How do you know your curve is "between a B- and a B" if they don't release it?

I don't think any t20 has a median of B-/B. My guess is the OP meant B/B+...
Edit: also, if you're at Emory, which I would guess that you are, our curve is set to a 3.17. If you want, PM me and let me know what profs you have this semester and maybe I can make some suggestions for how to study this semester.

Emory?
Hopefully this is a flame. I just don't understand going to a school where you believe finishing up around where most of your classmates do is killself kind of material. But I guess that's why lotteries work.

Things could be worse.
You could be last in your class.

Stay. With the 75% scholarship being median at a t20 is not a bad deal at all (you won't get biglaw but who cares your debt should be pretty manageable if it is under ~$70K total). Only reason I can think of that you would want to drop out is if you only went to law school because you thought it was a road to riches, but if that were the case I suspect you would have paid sticker at a t14 instead of taking the 75% scholly at the t20.

OP needs to drop out because he is a retard who is casting pearls before swine.
