I was looking for a good supplement to assist with Criminal Law this semster....anyone have any personal personal preferences/recommendations?
I was looking at either the E&E or the "Acing" series if anyone has any opinions on either of those. Thanks in advance.

I strongly agree with JS . . . however, if you prefer an outline format Peter Low's book is supposed to be good (I found it useless, but I prefer prose to outlines)

I wouldn't use Peter Low's supplement unless you have Peter Low, in which case, it is amazing.

The E&E taught me the course. I think after the Civ Pro one, the Crim E&E is the best.

Dressler. His Sum and Substance is great as well, if you're into audio supplements.

Any good suggestions for a theory book on criminal procedure? I find the "Perspectives on ___ Law" series really helpful, but it seems they don't have one for crim pro......

I've heard Dressler's Understanding Crim Pro vol 1 and 2 are good for that. From my understanding: vol 1 is investigation and vol 2 is adjudication

Reviving old thread. Does anyone think it would hurt to get the earlier edition? 2009 version is 40 bucks, and I can get 2006 one for 5...just wondering

Get the 2006 edition. Very little has changed.
