It's worth a few weeks of BS to be able to write "Senior" or "In-Chief" on your resume for life. Even if what you're doing feels like "meh" or "this journal really isn't that good" or "that election wasn't actually competitive," absolutely no one knows or cares out in the world.
The work can be annoying at times - I'm a SME - but since you're a 3L, school's over in more than one way anyway.
