This should be based on class rank, not letters

most schools are on a B+ or B curve. under that assumption, i'd say a B- isn't great.

Anything below the curve grade generally isn't good for your health. Anything more than a half-step below the curve grade indicates major lack of effort and/or understanding.

put it this way - if most of your grades aren't B+'s or above, you're not getting any OCI jobs.

if you're getting Bs or below, you probably won't be too happy about your job prospects

Basically, anything that's Median is "bad." The poll just reflects different grading curves at different school, which range from B+ to B- typically

A bad grade is one that prevents you from getting the job you (realistically) want. That will be different for everyone. My scale is as follows:

A: Super Yay
A-: Yay
B+: Meh
B: D-mn it
B-: Oh Sh**
Below B-: Drowning in a bottle of bargain scotch

Wouldn't it depend on a particular school's curve? One cannot compare a "B" as being a bad grade on a B+ median scale against a "B" that's on a B/B- scale. It's all relevant. Class rank should be weighed because not all grades are the same.
