I for one have my old books and will be selling them to 1Ls once I get back to campus. Assuming versions have not changed and you don't mind a crap load of highlighting, then wait till you get to campus and the 2Ls will sell you their books.clone22 wrote: Also, do older students hang on to their books to resell them to incoming class by any chance, or do we need to get our stuff online?
thanks
You're awesome, thanks. Quick question: is there like an organized event for this sort of thing, or is it up to the students to find other students to sell to and buy from?CyLaw wrote:I for one have my old books and will be selling them to 1Ls once I get back to campus. Now to figure out who in my section you are.clone22 wrote:Any current students want to chime in with tips on the following professors:

Frakes for torts
Eisenberg for contracts
Johnson for conlaw

There is a supplement table that is more organized, but I can't remember if that is before or after classes start. Mostly it is the 2Ls spamming the marketplace listserv.clone22 wrote:You're awesome, thanks. But don't forget! You can filter it all out using GMail labels!mths wrote:I'm really looking forward to this.CyLaw wrote: There is a supplement table that is more organized, but I can't remember if that is before or after classes start. Mostly it is the 2Ls spamming the marketplace listserv.
How does one access the marketplace listserv? And is it a good idea to wait that late to get books, or are we better off getting them ahead of time at relatively inflated prices?mths wrote:I'm really looking forward to this.CyLaw wrote: There is a supplement table that is more organized, but I can't remember if that is before or after classes start. don't rush to be a part of that. you'll be exposed once your c-mail account is activated. and the best thing you'll get out of the listserv, if you're lucky, is an i-clicker. stick to the internets for your books.clone22 wrote:How does one access the marketplace listserv? I purchased most of mine through Amazon, with the exception of some casebooks (Amazon's delivery estimate was Aug 24-Sep 7, too late for my preferences). A classmate told me that he was able to buy some used books that were in great condition (like-new) at decent prices from the Kraftees bookstore near campus.FlanAl wrote:Anyone trying to order books online yet? It looks like all of the case books have a pretty new edition. I am really struggling to find inexpensive books. anyone have any tips?
Am in section F, but I do remember those elephants...!thetobes wrote:Section B it is... if anyone else is in Section B and knows anything about April ASD and miniature elephants, PM me... If not, then kindly ignore my distasteful use of a public forum to reference an inside joke.

Do we have books this year?Arbiter213 wrote:haven't even thought about my books
