1) when individuals apply to law schools, law schools don’t do background checks do they on candidates for admission?
2) if an individual were to transfer after first year to a higher ranked law school (southern cal to ucla) does the transfer institution run background checks on transfers or also likely not

2) if an individual were to transfer after first year to a higher ranked law school (southern cal to ucla or southern cal to Stanford) does the transfer institution run background checks on transfers or also likely not? Wouldn’t top law schools like Berkeley or Stanford do so or again they wait until apply for bar?
