YLS Transfer 2021 (c/o 2023)
Figured I might as well start this thread. Top 5-10% at MVP throwing up a prayer.
I had two main questions that I was hoping others could answer:
1. When are the FIP dates this year / how does the timeline work for being a part of that process as a transer?
2. If admitted, how kosher or not is it to mention off-plan clerking to the YLS clerkship office? My home school basically pretends it doesn't exist, so not sure if admits would get any support at Y over the summer if they're going through that process.

1) First week of august usually
2) Doesn't matter about kosher: Clerkship office will pretend it doesn't exist.

AFAIK, there's zero institutional support from the school and faculty for off-plan clerkship applications, which seem to run through the students in the FedSoc chapter and other unofficial avenues

Rekindling this now that apps have closed. Also a T14 applicant.
OP, if you're looking at off-plan fedsoc hiring, couple of the more competitive judges are wrapping up applications already. Yale prob won't be of help so you'll need to go thru your school's fedsoc connections like now

There was an acceptance on Sunday on reddit. Seems pretty odd. Did anyone else receive one?
