Where should I apply?

4.0 at a T4. I had good undergrad grades but didn't do well on the LSAT and then didn't want to retake it, which I now regret. Don't know where I would want to practice/live later in life but would like to do public interest/possibly international law.

I'm struggling with putting together a list of reach/safety schools for transfer. I'm really frustrated at my current school, and while the faculty are great and I have a scholarship, I want to be in a more challenging environment in general. Does anyone have any suggestions on where to apply outside of the T14?

This is kind of the crucial area to narrow down. The "challenge" of law school is not worth $200,000.

So when you say public interest, do you have some vague idea of what that looks like? And are you really interested in international law, or just in law with an international dimension.

I should say I want a more challenging environment AND better job prospects. I'd say law with an international element. My biggest interests are tech and immigration law. I'm thinking that probably DC and California schools are the way to go, but just wondering if there are other schools that I'm not considering.
