GULC Waitlist Question

Post by purplegoldtornado » Fri Jul 10, 2020 10:42 am

I have not been waitlisted, nor accepted, nor denied at GT. My question is, who will be more likely to get the next wave? People on the WL or people who haven't been told anything yet? FWIW TT 3.75 top ten percent.

My baseless speculation is that they'll evaluate both together for the next wave.

Then what’s the point of the WL?

Well now the waitlist makes way less sense because they haven't even touched a LOT of applications. Why have such a big waitlist class when there are still a lot (presumably) of open seats left?

At this point I have no idea what GULC is doing.
