GW Regular Transfer

My fall grades were a 3.05 at a T3/T4 that has a 2.7 curve. I saw the 25th percentile they accept was 3.11. In the top 50% but not sure where. Pretty sure I will improve my grades this semester, to at least 3.11 but hopefully higher.
What are my shots at getting in to GW/how much do you think I’d need to raise my grades to be accepted?
My best friend got in EA from the same school, is that worth mentioning as part of the “why I want to transfer here”?
What other east coast T2 schools are realistic to apply to?

I applied early action and they told me that they wanted to see my spring semester grades before rendering a decision. I have a 3.30 at a school with a 2.7 curve and am ranked #33. Im above their 50th percentile so was surprised at their response. I emailed them twice about my school going pass/fail and to see how that would change their position but they haven't gotten back to me yet. Hope this gives some perspective!

We were unranked but just made it back into the rankings at the very bottom. Not sure if that is T3 or T4

Oh wow, yeah you are well above the curve, that surprises me too. Thanks for sharing! Do you know if they take the curve into account? Hopefully they get back to you, I bet you have good chances.
