Got a Skype interview with Vandy. Does anyone have any insights on what they ask?

I am at a T3 in the 120's with a 3.62 and never got the interview request, so I am sure that is not a good sign.Dbeale13 wrote:Got a Skype interview with Vandy. Does anyone have any insights on what they ask?

My interview was on April 3rd and the interviewer made it seem like they had just started interviews. So maybe there is still a chance. She also alluded that most people get deferred. Still waiting to hear back.retriever22 wrote:I am at a T3 in the 120's with a 3.62 and never got the interview request, so I am sure that is not a good sign.Dbeale13 wrote:Got a Skype interview with Vandy. Their transfer interview is very casual. They just want to make sure you can hold a conversation. It's not an "interview interview."
Just be able to talk and answer basic questions like: why vandy, tell me about your current school, why do you want to transfer, why did you want to go to law school, etc.

Any chance we hear before the close of business tomorrow? The seat deposit at GW is due at end of business 4/15, and I'd prefer not to pay multiple seat deposits if I can help it.
Stats are TTT between 100-110, 3.5+ GPA, top 15%, 1 CALI, with a Big Fed Summer Internship. Will likely get deferred but I am hopeful! I did not receive an interview request either, but I did submit a video statement expressing my interest I.e. why Vanderbilt. Good luck everyone!

I have a very similar background as you and surprised we didn’t receive an interview. I wrote a letter of continuing interest but didn’t do the video.JurisDude7 wrote:Any chance we hear before the close of business tomorrow? Deferred as well. Starting to see a trend with Early Action applicants. I'm curious to see how deferment looks with almost all schools going P/F (including mine).

How long did it take everyone to get an email with a status checker after applying? I sent in my application a few days ago.

My application is complete but I haven't heard anything so far. As for the video, I uploaded one. I hope they don't find it cringe
