GULC - Transfer 2020 Forum

A forum for those current students who are or may be transferring from one school to another. Post any questions, advice, or other transfer related comments here.

Anonymous Posting

Anonymous posting is only available to the creator of each thread. The anonymous posting feature is intended to permit the solicitation of anonymous advice regarding the transfer application process, chances of being accepted, etc. Unacceptable uses include: testing the feature, questions which are clearly fake or hypothetical in nature, harassing other users, etc. Posters should also read and understand the announcements posted at the top of the Transfers forum prior to using the anonymous feature.

Stats for future reference - School = TTT
- GPA = 3.68 and 3.8
- Ranking = 10% and 5%

Anyone else frozen with fear that they'll be the one idiot that fails con law? I do a lot of meditation to keep my mind chill but I keep imagining that I"ll have to withdraw from Georgetown and all my friends and family will be so disappointed :(

I might send in a hail mary to HYS, but I'm in love with the idea of going to Georgetown. It was my dream school going into this process

Anyone have info info about GULC need-based financial aid? I'm waiting for credentials to finish the final institutional application, but it would be great to have a ballpark of what's possible before the first deposit is due.

For RD, does an applicant need to have the GULC form submitted before they review your application?

For those who got a decision (acceptance/deferral/rejection) last week, when did you apply for ED? I applied on about March 5 and haven't got anything yet. Status says "application completed". Was wondering if this means rejection...

I applied on March 14th and got a decision last week. You may want to check your junk mail inbox because thats where my email came through :lol:

I just submitted my first deposit, still waiting on Berkeley but thinking that Georgetown/DC in general sounds like the best fit for me!

You have to like go to the website attached to the letter and under the "important dates/deadlines" thing, there is an option to submit an E-Check, it is kind of confusing because you have to set a password and then you have to submit banking information instead of like a credit card.

Hello Youtubers! I need advice. I made law review at my T40 school...I have strong connections in the area and all of my professors like me (hate to brag but uh suck it!). I also got into Georgetown... What is a b!tch to do? I have until the 29th to decide.

I want all the advice. Mean or otherwise.
