Chances of transferring to NYU? (T2, 3.8+)

3.846 at a T2 (Fall Semester)/due to corona, likely going P/F for second semester. Not sure of rank, but median was a 3.239.

Two things to consider. First, your class rank, along with the ranking of your school, matters more than your actual GPA. If a 3.8+ places you in the top 10%, that at least gives you a shot. Second, NYU does not take as many transfers from below T2 than, say, GULC. This makes sense given that NYU is a T6. That said, if you're in the top 5% of your 1L class, you should be competitive.
