Is a statement of intent to register binding?

Just wondering if a statement of intent to register is binding, or if I'll just lose my deposit if I change my mind? I was accepted by a school with a quickly approaching deadline, but have not heard back on other transfer applications yet.

I have been confronted with a similar issue recently. I did some research and it seems like most schools who have a intent to register only require that you withdraw from schools where you have already been accepted, meaning that if you are still waiting to hear from other schools it’s fine to sign the intent to register without withdrawing those apps. That being said, read the fine print. Also, per LSAC member law schools must “allow applicants to freely accept a new offer from a law school even though a scholarship has been accepted, a deposit has been paid, or a commitment has been made to another school.”
