Worth it to transfer? Top 10% at T-30

As title says I'm wondering if its worth attempting to transfer to a a top 10 school. I feel like I'm really late to the transfer cycle, and I haven't received any letters of recommendation because I wasn't expecting to rank as high as I did. Is it too late to start? Should I even bother?

Another thing I've been considering is that my school is the best school in the region so I feel that I have access to pretty good BL outcomes from here. But I do have some ambitions to be a professor.

Currently, I am paying around 25k a year total to go to my school.

Also I would like to add that I am currently a summer associate in a v100 firm.

Any advice would be great. Thanks!

Sounds like UW in Seattle or another school that dominates in the region. I'd say try to get more money from your current school. I'm not sure transferring would help you unless you're eyeing, but ok with not getting, academia, big fed, prestigious impact lit, etc.

Good spot to be in!

If you want to stay in the region, I would stay put and, as the previous poster said, leverage a transfer threat to get more scholarship $$$. If you are serious about academia and want to teach outside of the region (or at least want that to be a possibility), I would transfer. MVP and Berkeley all seem to be realistic possibilities. Your big problem will be deciding too late to be able to apply to all of the schools you'd have a chance of getting into.
