This might be a dumb question, but we don't have any obligation to pay back a scholarship when we transfer out right?

I recall reading that some TT law school (maybe American?) was putting a condition in its scholarship offers that required the student to pay back the scholarship if the student transferred out. That story got attention because the condition was unusual, if not unprecedented. So, no, you likely don't have to pay back your scholarship if you transfer, but—to make sure—you should read the conditions of the scholarship offer you accepted.Anonymous User wrote:This might be a dumb question, but we don't have any obligation to pay back a scholarship when we transfer out right?
My old T4 gave out conditional scholarships. Read the scholarship letter you received when you were admitted.Anonymous User wrote:This might be a dumb question, but we don't have any obligation to pay back a scholarship when we transfer out right?
