Top Law Schools

Cannot find a thread for regular application to Georgetown, so here we are.

My application status:

Sent my application yesterday, and still missing the good standing letter/transfer certification, which my current law school said they mailed on Monday. Just got an email from Georgetown saying that I can ask current law school to email the transfer certification to Georgetown to expedite the review process.

My application went complete just now and I'm getting anxious already.

GULC transfer from last year. I know people with worse stats than you who got in. You're in good shape.

Thank you! My application was complete on 6/9. They accepted an unofficial final transcript and the transfer form via email.

Hi! I was accepted on June 20. The deadline for the deposit is July 5th; and if you want to participate in Early Interview Week, they require that you submit your deposit by June 28th. The deadlines are pretty tight and dont leave much time to wait and consider other options unfortunately.

Congratulations!! And thanks for the info. That’s a pretty generous deposit deadline. I guess I’ll have a long wait ahead till I get the decision.

Oh, by generous, I mean compared to what prior applicants got. Hope you have other decisions before the GULC deadline!

Hi! My application went complete on June 16 and I received a decision about 4 days later. I most likely will attend but am waiting on one other school. Goodluck with your application!

In today via email. Submitted on 6/15 right at the deadline. Stats were top 18% at school in the 40's with a 3.52. Good luck everyone

OCS told me today that most acceptances went out yesterday. Next round probably won't be released until after EIW. Congrats to those accepted, and good luck to the rest!

Just realize that EIW will be on August 7 - 10. Did OCS mean next round of acceptance will be after that?

In the WL email, it says they promise to send an update no later than July 28. So I guess update does not necessary mean decision…? It would be such a long wait…
