Retaking LSAT during leave from T14 school

So, I completed my first semester at a T14 with a 3.0, not stellar but was working a lot at the time while doing full time school. After 1st semester I took a leave of absence after being offered an incredible temporary promotion. I want to return to school but am looking to making the jump to a higher ranked school. Would retaking the LSAT improve my chances if improved to the 174+ range? I only completed 3 first year classes so feel I am not a typical transfer student, and the last time I took the LSAT was 3 years ago.

Short answer, no.
Retaking would not benefit you in any way unless you intend to drop out and start 1L again. Also, you'll need a full year of course grades to actually transfer. I don't know of a school that will actually let you transfer (not just apply) with only one semester of grades.

Yeah, every school is different, but I think it would be tricky to transfer. Your grades aren't high enough to transfer up, and I don't think schools care much about LSATs for transfers since USNWR doesn't take transfer LSATs into account. Also, if you're at a T14, you're already in a good position job-wise, so i'm not sure what you'd get out of transferring.
