Top Law Schools

I am interested in transferring to GULC or GW from a school ranked in the 60s. I have a 3.2 gpa, ranked in top 50 of the class and top 30%. I also made deans list and am jur'd a class.

For GULC, although I fall outside of their 75th percentile according to their 509 form, I am wondering how much my am jur/recs from GULC alums/ability to pay seat deposit (EA) and full tuition would help me? Would these extras make it worth applying? How much does the ability to pay tuition in full mean to the law school?

Interesting situation. Curious as to replies regarding top 30% from a school ranked in the 60s. The best answer may be to just apply & wait for the schools' response. My best guess is that top third is enough for GW.

Probably in at GW, but probably not at GULC. I had similar but slightly better stats (t-50 school, Top 20%, booked a class) and had no luck. I don't think the am jur'd makes much of a difference, it just comes down to GPA/rank. Also don't think the ability to pay full tuition makes a difference since that's virtually assumed as a transfer. That being said, you never know and you should throw an app out anyways. The transfer game can be mysterious

Georgetown offers financial aid grants to transfers, so ability to pay full tuition is not assumed here.

In the world of undergraduate admissions, a donation goes a long way at this school since its endowment is well below that of its peers.
