If your old-school GPA/Rank qualifies you for any firm, should you leave those values on your Transfer resume or take them off?

Yes unless your new school specifically tells you not to.

I personally would as well unless the school's rule/policy is to leave them off -- which I think is a ridiculous and dumb policy as it leaves transfer students in a vulnerable position during OCI unless they can affirmatively put "First in class," or your old school officially publishes cutoffs for each of the top few percentages. Putting "Top 10%" on your resume, if that's the highest cutoff that your old school publishes, does not have the same impact as say a "3.95/4.0" does. You're then stuck in the mud with all those other people that may have been on the lower end of that bracket. But unfortunately you have no choice with some schools as they won't let you do so (e.g. Columbia).

This is false. I had my rank on my resume for CLS EIP last year.

Note that I was referring to GPA. I was strictly told -- despite my protesting and trying to make a case for myself -- that I was absolutely NOT permitted to include my GPA on there, nor indicate what the cut-off for the top tier was (just in case they want to compare to my transcript). If you are lucky and your school officially ranks students, then you are permitted to put that on there, but if you come from a school that only publishes cutoffs for top 10, 25, 1/3rd, etc. then you can only put the bracket that you fall into per your schools official published cutoffs. If your school doesn't make available a 2% cutoff for example and your GPA would place you in the top 2-5 students, you can only put Top 10% (if that's the highest they publish).
