Top Law Schools

From what people have posted, it seems that UofC has made their round of RD admits without sending any responses to those of us who were deferred ED.

If you were deferred ED and did not receive a response in the RD wave, post and join in on the anxiety trip. Personally, I take comfort in knowing that we all are in the same boat (OR MOST OF US ATLEAST).

Stats: Applied ED, deferred on May 26th, Top 1% 1L year.

Please just end my misery, Chicago.

Right there with ya, this is awful. I was interviewed on May 23 and deferred on 26th. From what I saw it looks like they only sent out RD acceptances not emails, maybe there is still hope? I think I'm going to call them over my lunch break tomorrow to ask because I have two other deposit deadlines.

Will do! I emailed them a while back and they said we should know by the 22nd but it was a pretty standard response email, I'm hoping to have more luck if I speak to them in person.

Just called and did specify ED deferalls. Honestly didn't get much information, they said the admission committee is reviewing and wI'll have decisions by the end of next week, but can't say a date, "could be any day" so no new information sadly.

Lol. That's going to be so late, I already have a lease signed on a place closer to the downtown area. I'm guessing they'll use us to fill up spaces from people reneging on UChi or getting into HYS

Try asking in the Ask NU thread. They seem to know the reputation of places you find. As for the finding itself-I used Google and padmapper to varying degrees of success. It also depends on what youre looking for: if you are cheap like me and need a 850/mon studio, theyre probably gone by now; if you need a one bedroom, there are plenty of those to go around.

Tomorrow is the last day I hold onto any hope. The second set of admissions came out the day after the first rounds deposit was due. So if 1:00pm tomorrow rolls around with nothing I think it's time to toss in the towel
