My guess is that they've all been sent out, then. No reason to slow-roll the emails.

I don't know that that's necessarily true -- I bet they send out decisions as soon as they're made. Not a good sign though for anyone waiting...

An email went out saying the financial aid announcements were in error and that our admissions status is still pending. I'm not sure if that went out to all applicants or only the people who got the financial aid email.

Did you (or aharown, the other person who received the congratulatory email from financial aid yesterday) receive an admissions email from Yale today? Wondering if TheGoat18 is the only one who has heard anything from Admissions so far . . .

I got the accidental finaid email yesterday as well, and called to check it out (this was prior to the apology email being sent out). It seemed like a genuine screwup where a list of possible admits were given to finaid to prep award packages, but they were supposed to hold them awaiting final approval and didn't.

Nothing today though (and I believe they're probably done).

Y'all might want to check your spam folders. The email went to my update folder in gmail, I didn't see it until I came back from lunch.

Also got the finaid email in error, and also haven't heard anything today. Ah well, seems like many of us will be transfer friends at HLS?

I've heard nothing today. Getting tense. Hard to do my work this afternoon.

Mad congrats to the admits!!

12:30-1:15 = 45 min, which means the emails weren't batched, which means they might still be processing. I'm not giving up hope until close of business today.

I did not, but uh to be honest I haven't completed my need access yet so that might be part of it. Does anyone know if transfers get significant financial aid?

Well, I don't appear to have been admitted, but the financial aid award I was sent yesterday was substantial :p

Accepted by email at 12:15 CST. Still in shock!! Interestingly, I never heard anything from hls. The only thing I can think is maybe my 250 word essay made a difference--I went a bit out on the limb with something abstract/academic. Or perhaps LORs were more important? Either way, counting my blessings. Congrats to everyone who heard back, and I hope more still do.. the pessimistic waiting game's been pretty brutal since last Thursday.

Also dinged at Yale at 12:14 ET. Only disappointed because I got that fakeout "Congratulations" email. My story will be that I was accepted at Yale and I turned them down right away!

Definitely satisfied with Harvard.
