Top Law Schools

Haven't seen a thread made yet. Decisions seemed to start coming out fairly early in June last year.

Anyone have any status updates? My app looks to be complete but the status itself (and date) hasn't changed since I submitted end of April.

Sent in transcript yesterday. Top 3% at 100-115 rank school; CA ties.

Checking in.

Top 4% at 50-55 ranked school on the east coast; some CA ties

App is in - rank hasn't posted yet, but likely top 10% at 50-60.

We can still send a Letter of Good Standing after the deadline as long as our app was submitted on LSAC, right?

The instructions on the LSAC portion of the application indicate that they only want Letter of Good Standing if you are admitted.

Anyone have any status other than the "your app has been received" message? Any different date than the date you submitted? I'm wondering if I should contact them just to make sure my app didn't get lost in the weeds.

Strong local ties. T1 top 5% application in!

Checking in. Sent app today. Third time is a charm?

So... I got an email 'your app is complete -- dont contact us' but B doesnt have my class rank... only GPA. I called and they said rank isn't necessary, but is preferred, so I sent it in. Weird though we can get evaluated w/o class rank? Maybe B is all about GPA?

Checking in. 4.15 from top 30, but my school doesn't rank either. My app moved to "under review" on 6/14.

I hope you applied to HYS because you have a very good shot. Leave the Berkeley spots for us peasants.

Haha thanks for the nice words. I applied to HLS and SLS, but there are plenty of weak points in my application (shitty undergrad, easy major, low LSAT, etc.), so I'm not too confident I'll gain admission to either. Further, Berkeley's something of a dream school for me, so I'd be ecstatic to go.

Also, how long did it take for your applications to go to "Complete" status after everything was checked off of the "Requirement List?"

Under Review Today. Submitted on Tuesday night. Crossing my fingers!!!

Under review as well. Submitted Wed. night close to 9 pm ET and got a little worried when I saw their twitter message above. Wasn't aware schools had COB deadlines for submission (always thought LSAC's deadline is 11:59 pm). I wonder why it matters if it's in by COB - they won't get to it until the next day anyway.

Anyway, hopefully the time-stamp on the application isn't something they consider, lol. Good luck everyone!

That tweet re: larger class size really has me optimistic now lol. In recent years past, B has taken roughly 45-55 transfers? After the tweet I'm thinking this year could be 60/65?

Feel like making it public re: larger transfer class wouldn't have been done if it was going to be minimal. So I'm thinking +10/+15 from last year. Anyone have any thoughts?

I submitted my app materials on Wed ~ 12PM, but I haven't seen a status checker email or a confirmation email -- does this seem strange to anyone?
I take it that ya'll are getting "under review" status from the status checker?

Got me excited too. Considering 30+% of the transfers came from my school in the years we have info from, I hope that does not change.
Hopefully 10+ total extra transfers. All TLS members.
