Transferring and the job market

Post by Anonymous User » Wed May 25, 2016 11:56 am

So I just received my last grade of the semester of 1L and have already turned in 7 transfer apps. I was top third in a t2 school and didnt receive any OCI's or even found something for this summer. It started to get me worried and was wondering what percent of graduates usually receive job offers in upper t1 schools or lower t2 schools. Is it really only top 20% get jobs at each school? I cant help but question my ability to receive a job to make getting a law degree worth it. Should I be panicking or did I just not network enough this year to get an offer or perhaps my school isnt that great thus leading to no offers.

Any input would be awesome. Did anyone receive employment in my situation or worse for this summer (Lower t2- top 33%). How bad will not having something hurt me if I work outside the legal field?
