I'll be sending an app to NYU. I have the GPA requirement, but not sure if my TTT will be a huge negative factor.

75% for transfers it 3.76... I'm sitting around 3.83. NYU seems to take the majority from T1s, though, so idk. I'm t3

What's your class rank percentile?

School doesn't release until after spring. Going off last year's, I'm top 5


Edit: I'm top 5.5. Released a few min ago. Calc worked

I'll probably send in an app. Probably a moonshot unless my grades improve some. Top 10% at a TT with a hard science background.

Hmm, not really, just get in your materials quickly so you don't have to worry about it! And if you do your school's journal competition and get on, let NYU know - I have no idea if this actually helps, but when I found out I got law review at my old school, I told NYU and then got my acceptance just two or three days later.

When is everyone submitting? I see that they don't start making offers until July.

NYU status check says they have received my UG transcript, but not questionnaire. UG sent both together. anyone else?

Man, why can't they just accept my UG transcripts from LSAC. That's bogus.

honestly. Like they think we are going to falsify our UG transcript somehow and get LSAC to accept it? Seems like a million more forms to the office for basically no benefit

Still waiting on my grades for 1L but just apped.

My GPA will almost certainly be between about 3.75 and 3.85, depending on exactly how last six credits turn out (unless I totally bombed or A+ed both of them, which I really don't think I did). T2 school in the 70s.

Historical cutoff for 10% is ~3.6 but I don't know what the 5% cutoff is.

Just requested another copy of my law transcript and dean's certification because they apparently don't have it. I probably should haven't just had it sent electronically ...

The website says they do not require recommendations. Does anyone have any information on people getting in without one?

With that rank you have a solid chance at NYU and CLS
