Was top 13% at a TT (80s) after first semester, but due to a family issue missed a lot of class and dropped to probably 25-30% after second semester. Anyone think I still have any chance? I sent in an addendum noting my situation.

Hello to all:

Application has been completed with all materials received since June 17, 2016 but still no movement. I am sure they have plenty of transfer apps but I am really hoping for an answer before the last time slot for the writing competition, which is between July 6th to July 13th.

I applied for full-time but at this point I would even consider part-time lol. Good luck to everybody!

Cool and I assume you are still waiting. When did you complete and what are you stats if you do not mind sharing.

Got word today that I was waitlisted. Historically, how does the waitlist group work and what is the timeline for GULC giving you a decision? Not sure if worth it to drop GULC and go to Emory, where I got in

Also waitlisted. Not bad news for me to be honest, really hoping to get in.

What are the consequences of committing and then reneging if I get accepted to CLS/NYU? July 1st deadline is really tough since CLS/NYU won't decide until mid July (historically speaking) but I can't really afford the $1,200 deposit.

x2. Interested to know the chances of getting off the waiting list.

Am I correct that GULC doesn't ding? They just waitlist into oblivion?

If you mean reneging on the waiver of deposit, they'll file a complaint with LSAC. Whether CLS/NYU would do anything about it at that point, I'm not sure. Seems highly unlikely GULC would do anything else though.

I was dinged.
Sorry to hear. Hopefully you have other options. When did you apply and roughly when were you notified?

Checking in! I am still listed as complete. Stats are 12% at lower T1. For those of you who are wait listed what are your stats and when did your status checker show that your file was complete?

My status has been "application completed" since June 20, 2016. No movement since then. Does georgetown update when file is under review with specific date(s)?

I feel a waitlist coming with the recent trend. :(

Write-On competition due date July 13th, well before I am likely to hear from Columbia/NYU (my top choices, after the basically impossible Harvard).

Does it make a big difference for interviews?

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
