Thought I would start this off. Any movement for anyone other than complete?

That'd be awesome if they did. Does applying ED give you a boost? I'm 15% at TT so not quite good enough, but I'm hoping that I get a little boost cause I did ED.kellbellx wrote:Current transfer at USC here. I applied ED last year and wanted to offer to answer any questions you all might have.
Our transfer class from last year (about 15 students) has done very well - we've been told they will be taking a larger class this coming year. Best of luck to you all!!
Unless I somehow get into Berkeley, I'll see you there. Perhaps you can show a good 'ol Bay Area boy the ropes?kellbellx wrote:Current transfer at USC here. I applied ED last year and wanted to offer to answer any questions you all might have.

Why are you so confident you'll get in?lawstudent2999 wrote:Unless I somehow get into Berkeley, I'll see you there. Not very, but decently. I'm at the cusp right now. If I don't get in ED, I'll probably get in for regular decision. Guaranteed A's in 2/5 of my classes (elective and W+R where everything has been graded). Top score on both midterms in other two classes. One class I don't have any grade in, but I'm studying my ass off.eyeofvigilence wrote:Why are you so confident you'll get in?lawstudent2999 wrote:Unless I somehow get into Berkeley, I'll see you there. No, I was just curious if you had already gotten word or something. Good luck.lawstudent2999 wrote:Not very, but decently. I'm at the cusp right now. Obviously nothing is guaranteed, but I like my chances. Didn't mean to come off as cocky, though. Apologies.
My transfer class has students from Southwestern, so don't count yourself out. I was pretty well qualified and got in ED, but I think most decisions are made in the main application pool. Ties to the area and an inclination that you will do well at OCI seem more likely to give a boost from what I've noticed.eyeofvigilence wrote:That'd be awesome if they did. Hi! So I really want to go to USC and applied ED. But I am wondering what happens if an ED application is deferred -- does it remain binding if/when it turns into an acceptance later? Or if I applied to another school after being deferred, would I be free to go there if accepted? This seems like a question for the admissions office but I doubt they want to field this one right now.kellbellx wrote:Current transfer at USC here.
