Is it possible to transfer from full time to part time?
Can anyone tell me some schools (especially top, and transfer friendly)?
I will end up somewhere in the 20-40% and I dont think i have a good chance for transferring as full time.

I'm not sure what you mean by "top" but Emory is pretty easy to transfer into. In 2014 they took in transfers from John Marshall, and even Ave Maria. Their 50% transfer G.P.A is only like a 3.1-3.3.
Probably the easiest top 25 school to transfer into.

wow thank you,
are there any more of these easier transfers?
Assuming I will be Top 20-40% range.
Emory sounds good but Georgia is really unappealing...

Vandy and Wash U take fewer transfers in, but their medians are around 3.4. USC, likewise, takes fewer, but their median is 3.55.
Thanks for the reply!
Do you have any more info?
I looked everywhere and it seems hard to find information regarding transfer applicants.
They are too general, requiring Top 25% and such.
Is NYU easier or less competitive? I have only heard rumors.

Look up the schools' 2015 ABA 509 Required Disclosure reports. ABA compiles them in one location or you can look up individual schools' admissions pages.
NYU may have been easier to get into previously, but for our class the median was 3.68 and the mid-50 range was 3.55-3.76. So not on Harvard/Chicago/Columbia's level of competitiveness, but not any less competitive than the rest of the T14. Comparable to Georgetown, Northwestern, Michigan, Duke.
Ok so I found it, thanks for that!
But based on experience, Im wondering who in Top 20% got in anywhere in T20?
However, does GPA matter more or the class rank?
Because I thought that the class rank is what was important, since a 3.4 can be Top 11% in my school whereas it may be Top 20-30% in others..
