Anonymous Posting

There's no reason to speculate this early really. You're going to be getting your ranks in a couple of weeks, so why the rush? Nothing you can do now that you can't do then. But, to try and help:

FSU's 509 reports the GPAs of incoming transfer students as:

Transfers (prior academic year*)

75th Percentile 1L GPA: 3.32
50th Percentile 1L GPA: 3.14
25th Percentile 1L GPA: 2.96

Looks like your GPA would fall roughly slightly above their median of incoming transfer students. I'm not sure how much stock you should put in that though, because your school might have a pretty harsh median compared to other schools they take transfers from, so they may rely on your rank more than your GPA. Who knows. Your ties to Florida, etc. would only help you, imo.

Thanks for the reply! And I am speculating because FSU takes applications after one semester for summer admittance.
