Top Law Schools

I am transferring after this semester, which makes me a Spring transfer. I know what three schools I want to apply to but their applications do not open up until mid september and the deadlines range from mid november until mid december. My question is: Do I go ahead and ask my current school for the letter of good standing? Or do I have to wait until these other schools have opened up their applications?

Any help would be appreciated because my current school offers none.

I would say wait. They dont take long. I take it you are applying to schools in DC because the ones here take spring transfers.
