NYU vs CLS for IP

Hi all.

Thinking about leaving my T30s school where I'm bottom of the top 10% and on law review for NYU or CLS, but need to come up with a decision in the next two days. Scholarship at current school is not big enough to sway.

I'll likely have good biglaw prospects wherever I end up, especially since I'm interested in patent (with technical background). But may want to clerk for federal circuit patent judge / want to build my IP niche, and obviously the name of the school stays with you forever.

Wondering if anyone has insight or opinions about where I should go - any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!

If you have a MS in Biotech I think you're stuck with IP Lit, and I don't know if you really want to do that at the moment. Not knocking on anyone who enjoys it, but it doesn't look as hot as it was before (and never as "IPSecure" as Patent Pros.). You'd benefit from climbing school rank if you wanted to do IP Lit anyways. CLS and NYU tend to fluctuate between 5-8% for clerkships and neither seems to have a leg up on the other there. CLS has better lay prestige.

You'll do OCI at the same exact place regardless of where you go.
