Is it worth it?

Is transferring schools to be in the city you want to practice in worth it if you are doing it just to develop a network there? The move I am considering has nearly identical "prestige" and cost.

Need more info. Job placement stats of each school, law review, etc. Why not just name the two law schools in question ?

Staying at Emory v. going to UCLA. No law review. Want to be in LA after graduation.

If cost is exactly the same and you want to be in LA make the switch.

I'm in a nearly identical position. Same schools and everything. Cost is a wash. I'm just concerned socially it's the wrong move. Is this a stupid concern?

Not stupid, but not something that should keep you from transferring if it will make your career a lot easier
